Xanthi Simvoulopoulou

Xanthi Simvoulopoulou is an undergraduate Philosophy student at the University of Patras. She has always held a deep appreciation for the arts, particularly philosophy, classic literature, and music. Four years ago she graduated from a Music high school giving her the opportunity to learn over four musical instruments and won several awards for music compositions. The works of philosophers such as Descartes , Nietzsche and Butler have inspired her to think critically and reflect on one’s own beliefs, which she finds incredibly valuable in today’s social climate. She finds greatest joy in delving into classic literature and poetry like Jane Austen and Shakespeare where the complexities of human emotions is explored and offer a window into humanity’s greatest triumphs and deepest flaws. In her free time she is a film enthusiast and a dance student.
