Dimitrios Kouvaras

Dimitrios Kouvaras reads History and Archaeology as an undergraduate student at the University of Athens. His fields of interest include European and gender history, on which he is doing seminar work.  He became enthusiastic about philosophy during High School and represented Greece in the 2020 and 2021 IPOs receiving a Bronze Medal and an Honourable Mention respectively. He has explored topics in ethics, political philosophy and epistemology and has published an article at a journal for students. Foreign languages, of which he speaks English, French and is learning Spanish, as well as rhetoric contests figure in his other intellectual interests. Besides academia, he has worked as a camp counsellor during the summer. Travelling, practicing folk dance and hanging out with friends are all he could ask for in his spare time.
